How long does delivery take?

We aim to deliver within 48 hours but this is a guide and can be different in peak periods.

 

How do you deliver?


Here at Oakleys Farm Group we deliver a couple of different ways... but we need plenty of access to start off - if you have tight access please call us before placing your order. Methods of delivery are dependant on access. We can use Hiab lorries or Tippers.

 

How big are your wagons?

We use anything from a transit pick up tipper to a tractor. If you have a larger order request with difficult access please call us.

 

What if I want my delivery at the top of my drive?

  • Deliveries cannot be left on any slopes or hills
  • Unfortunately delivery pump trucks cannot leave goods on any soft, tarmac, cobbled or decking surface
  • Delivery access free of any obstacles such as low cables or over hanging trees
  • We cannot leave delivery on a neighbours private land
  • We can not block any vehicle access
  • If for any reason delivery is deemed unsafe or puts us at liability we will deliver kerbside or not offload the order.

 

What time will my delivery be?

We deliver between 8am-6pm and do not give specific times, if you call us on the morning of your delivery we should be able to give a rough estimate. The driver will also call to let you know if will be on route, please have your phone to hand on delivery day.

 

Do I need to be home for the delivery?

We advise that someone is home to accept delivery as sometimes deliveries will need to be roadside if the driveway is not accessible.

 

My gravel has arrived dusty – is this normal?

Yes, the gravel comes straight from the quarry in an unwashed state. The rain will naturally wash away the dust or you can pop your hosepipe over it for 5 minutes.

 

Whats the smallest amount I can order?

For delivery 1 tonne is the minimum order amount

 

Can I Cancel My Order?

An order can only be cancelled and fully refunded if it hasn’t been despatched. If your order has already left us unfortunately you would be charged to cancel.

Can I Make Changes to My Order?

Depending on the change you are wanting to make we do aim to try and make them possible. If your order has already left us and has been despatched unfortunately no change can be made to that product apart from a return which would still attract an additional charge. You can add further products to the order however we can’t guarantee they would arrive together. If your product hasn’t left us and you want to change the product or add on, we can make this possible.
